Thought I'd post a pic of my tank

I've only been a member for a few months now, but am enjoying the benefits greatly. Here's a pic of my 40g. Don't be too harsh. :D

No need to be harsh at all, looks great Brett. Some of those corals look familiar. ;) Nice and clean looking. Only thing I would notice, and you might have already figured on this, is that as that cap grows in it looks like it's going to start shading your candy canes. No fish?

Congrats!

Very nice and clean looking! I like the red mushrooms over in the left corner. Everything looks great and very healthy!

Thanks, Shooter! The neon green sinularia is growing like crazy. And the monti is also doing great. Under pc lighting too. :D The pic doesn't show it too well, but the Candy Cane still gets plenty of light. I might have to move it in the near future though. Hopefully not until I upgrade to the 180 in the fall. :)

Thanks, puddldude! Everything is doing swell. :)

Very nice, super clean!

Thanks, NitroxBreather! :)

SWEET!!! Looks awesome.

With the sinularia in there, make sure you are doing regular waterchanges or running carbon (or both).

I do 10/15% changes per week religiously. And I run carbon 24/7. Thanks for the comments, inwall! :)

where's the fish?

other then that looks great!

LOL! I knew I'd get questioned on what fish are in there. Right now, I decided to keep the system as low maintenance as possible. I'm going to be upgrading to a 180 in the fall and want to make to trasition as easy as I can.

How do like that xenia, Dert? That's the little frag you gave me a couple months ago! And the smaller orange cap in the back is also from you and doing great. :)

You could go like my 10g......one chromis.

 Yeah I guess I could. I call it my invert/specimen tank. :) And yes, I'm including the hydroids as part of my specimens. :D

Looks awesome, I can't believe how big that xenia is already, i must skim to hard or something I can't get mine to grow that fast

I would be careful of wishing for xenia to grow faster. Eventually you'll be cussing the stuff and vowing never to have it in your tank again once it spreads everywhere. :D

LOL, yeah it's getting out of control. I've had to prune it back already, but I hate just throwing it away. Maybe next time I'll try to give it to Gateway or something.

looks awesome!
is that the toadstool leather I gave you? it's growing like a weed :)

Sure is. Its just starting to take its toadstool shape. Maybe someday it will grow up like yours. :)

looking good!

Thanks Kpc! :)

I'd just like to say thanks to all the local reefers who either traded, sold, or gave me frags of the corals in my tank. Everything you see, except for a few mushrooms, I have because of the great community of reefers we have in STL. Gotta love SEASL!!! :D
