thoughts on canon xsi

I am considering a canon sxi, anyone using it? What kinds of tank pics could I manage with the standard lens.

A good camera an ok lens. If you mount on a tripod and shutdown you pumps and powerheads to let everything settle down you'll get some decent shots. The great shots you see posted are almost always with macro lens like the 100mm f/2.8 macro.

I agree with above. I get good shots, but I want a different lens eventually to get the good closeups.
