Thoughts on plumbing closed loop

I am starting to pick out the parts needed to plumb my system and am at the closed loop section.

My plan is the follows:

(2) 1.5" drains feeding into mag 18 (existing pump, may change to reeflow dart). The 4 (or more) returns will be over the top.

Here are the choices

#1
5 Ports - 3/4" x 2"

#2
4 Ports - 1" x 2"

#4

#5

What would you use?
My return from the sump will be using the existing drains in the 180 and using an iwaki 55rxlt and 2 penductors

That is later in life when funds permit. This for now would cost me less than $10.

I like the ones that lead straight-into the pump. Less bends the less chance for reduction in flow, etc. Plus they look simpler. Also, they remind me of little rocket ships!

I dont know how much the oceanmotions stuff goes for - but you get some of those fittings and a few lawn sprinkler valves and you have the same thing--- and im guessing quite a bit cheaper...

ps to answer your question - i would go with the "rockt ship" ones ;) - i think the more straight throw flow would give you better, less restrictive flow

ok, I guess I will be going with option #2. Thanks to all that responded. If anyone else wants to chime in, please don't hesitate
