Thoughts on Reeflux 12K?

I am currently running two 400 watt Hamilton 14K SE on a sps dominated 125 g aquarium. I have no supplemental lighting. While I was initially thrilled with the Hamiltons, they appear to be showing some seemingly premature loss of intensity and spectral shift (they are only 7 months old), I am looking to experiment with a different bulbs. Since I have no supplemental lighting, I want to keep with something that has some blue spectrum. I don't need great PAR since my corals are already huge. I mostly am seeking a light to show good color. I have read some good things about 12k Reefelux but I'd love to hear from sps fanatics. Thanx.

useing the 12k 400w. love em. have no actinics
How long have you been running the 12k reeflux and have you run the 10k reeflux? If so can you give a comparison of the 2? Does the 12's really color coral like the 10's?

I've used both in the 250w version with both mag ballast and electronic ballast. The color on the 12k is about the best I've seen but the growth is dismal. 400w may be a different story as far as growth is concerned. I still run 1 250 12k in the middle of 2 400w Radiums. The color is very close, but I think the 12k is a bit nicer. The corals pop they do under actinics.....

12K Reeflux 250W with IC ballast.. Too blue for me and it's kinda dim too. I like 10K with T5 actinic better.
