Thoughts on T5 lighting

I am currently in the planning stages of setting up a mixed reef. Mainly softies and lps with maybe a few sps's. The tank will be a 250Gal marineland deep dimension 60x36x27. The lighting I was thinking about using will be 60" 12x80W SLR T5 Very High-Output. That will leave me with 6" of the aquarium without light directly over it. Do you think that would be enough light for that setup?

Thanks

You should be fine. Each T5 bulb in a good reflector will cover 3" of tank, so 12 bulbs on a 36" deep tank should be perfect.
