Thoughts on your Tomato

just wondering what you all think of Tomatos in general. Mine is super mean and very aggressive . iwill be getting her a nem when the time comes. She is not scared of anything of anybody. Bites like crazy, hate to see her defend a nem lol,

Mines small about 2 inches and before it got the bta it was getting bullied by a larger tibicen angelfish. Now it holding its own and strting to look meaner by the day. also changing to a darker colour might be a sex change

I have two tomato clowns. Appeared bonded at the LFS. Took a while for them to adjust. The larger is very agressive with the smaller. She also likes to chase my firefish if he is in her space.

Funny thing happened last night. We were watching her being aggressive with the firefish, and my friend leaned in real close to the tank quickly. She quivered in submission as though my friend was another fish. She did it 3 or 4 times. Too funny.

The female clown has never been aggressive to the point of stressing out or tearing up a tank mate. I think her bark is worse than her bite.

I have one tomato that hosts a GBTA and is buddies with my 3 cross' damsels, p.j. cardinal and lemon tang. Doesn't bother me at all when I clean the tank and eats from my hand. But it seems everyone's experience is different. His personality may stem from the fact that I've had him since he was very small; doesn't know he should be mean...

mine used to bite me all the time. it does what i call fish burn-outs. it bites a rock and waves its tail so it stirs up sand. once i moved my hand near the top of the tank and it jumped out of the water to bite me. not mean to other fish though. funny thing is, it isn't mean any more.
