threads or ideas on simplified water changes/plumbing

I know I have seen them...now I cant find any....need help building the plumbing for my 180...and looking for a way to plumb it where I can open a gate/ball valve to pump water from sump instead of back into tank to get to a water change level and then figure an automated way to pump new tank water in.....thanks in advance

On my system I have a 35 gal tank above the sump for water changes (let gravity do the work). I have a "T" off the main return line that I use to pump water out of the sump. 25gal water changes take only a couple min to perform.
