Three year tank- add rock - now ick

I have done nothing or added anything to my tank for over a year. Everything was going great. So well my corals were out growing the tank so I gave many away after I fragged small pieces. Some of the coral was on rock so I added some live rock from my local fish store. A day later my very fat and healthy powder blue shows sign of ick. Today it looks worse. I did not think ick could come in on rock?
How did this happen and any way to stop and save from having to watch a beautiful fish die?

No - there are many anecdotal cases of Ick (Cryptocaryon) transfer on wet material, live rock is one of the worst culprits (and can also transmit egglaying flukes). I've even seen transfer from a person feeding one tank, and then dipping their hand in another tank...
