Do you have a thru-wall tank in your home or office ? If so please post some pics or links to your build. My build (Independence Tank) is also posted on this site. Thanks in advance

Thanks for the reply, and beautiful tank. Do you use the room on the backside for anything ? My ? is whether or not to tint one side or leave it alone? I want to view mine from both sides.

On-going three-year fishroom build project.

Sound proof drywall around the tank and in the equipment room to minimize sounds from the equipment room. One inch clearance for the tank and stand.

Equipment room: Platform to access the top of the tank. The floor of the platform is hinged for easier access to the sump and filtration under the platform.

Thanks all,
Pacu mom, wow !! Beautiful I can't wait to see it finished. Beautiful home.
Mnavic, at night when you have the lights off in the kitchen do you still see through the tank or does it appear black ?
7808, nothing wrong there that's a great use of an otherwise dead spot, good plan. Do you plan on doing a refugium under it ?

this tank was up and running for a while, then taken down, now back up recently, there is just a baffled 20L sump under the tank with heater pumps and skimmer

i use only return jets and outside-plumbed looped-pump for water movement, i dont like the way powerheads look in tanks, and the through the glass drive ones are spendy

also i added a heavy duty chain and turnbuckles to tension on each side that goes from the side of the back of the stand diagnal up to the studs because i didnt %100 trust the stand not to collapse backwards some day lol (and when i asked on here i was told not to build a stand like that, it would probably fail)

That stand will be fine it's a carpentry trick called "cantalever" all the load is back on the front wall. People dot realize that you see a lot of park benches and octagonal pick- nick tables done that way and people sit on them every day. Good luck with it and post some finish pics. Here's a couple of mine
