Tide mode ??

I have two 6100 on a tide mode 1 minute interval on the M/C I
Have it on 100% on all four adjustments with the pulse mode to the off position.
Now why the pulse light switch every three minutes?

Pulse is always active, it isn't pulsing because you have all four knobs at the same power but honestly I would keep the pulse so that the flow is wider and more diffuse. The idea is that when slow and fast water collide they create a broader flow pattern. With Tide mode the pumps change off and the running pumps pulse. Pulse has always been the main feature of the electronic pumps because this is what really softens and broadens the flow and creates a natural wave action.

Well if the Pulse is always active then i can put it on wave mode put one pump on 30% and the other 100% on a three minutes pulse that way none of the two pumps will be off completely . You See if i can go three minutes switch i will go with that . I din't think you can go more than 7 seconds on the pulse mode. You think it will work that way ??

Thats not really a pulse but yes, it would work. The whole idea behind pulse is when slow water is hit by faster moving water it is like if it hit a wall and spreads around it making a broader, softer motion.

You see i know what you mean but you know it is alway a but


My tank is seven foot long so the water hit right in the middle of that tank, no i can not put the pumps the way you like :rolleye1:
the pumps had to face each other. I try different ways it just blows my anemone around to much and i don't need it to move now after two years. So as it hit in the middle i have very high turbulence in the center of the tank but the ends don't get that much of a flow, if i keep the pumps running longer the pump that is on the 100% moves the water a way from the center of the tank.now if i could do one minutes interval on the pulse mode i will be all set:smokin:
