Just FYI,
Over the past two years miscellaneous losses have been occurring in my tank that we attributed to other things.
Today however, I found the culprit as I saw him actually munching on my SPS.
He has also eaten zoas but I didn't see him in action on that one.
TIGER COWRIES are NOT reef safe.
Bummer because they're really cool critters.

Are you sure the coral theyre eating is healthy? I know they are questionable with soft corals but never heard anything on sps. I have 2, I caught one eating the flesh off of a monti digitata, I was shocked but that coral had struggled from shipping for a couple months, turned out it had STN and the cowries were just cleaning up what was already dead. Same experience with bumble bee snails.
