Yes and it eats like a monster.

Scours the tank all night and returns to the SB by day, it won't move in Undy's tank while the light are on; smart!

Cool. I just got a big one and will see what it eats. Hope it eats junk. I read that they will eat anemones, but have a hard time picturing it devouring my carpet, especially overnight without me noticing something. The clown gave it hell at first so I made a rock cover. If my turbo snail can manage this should too.

Side note, that turbo went onto the underside of the glass brace in the middle of the tank and was there for hours eating junk. Out of the water I might add! So I moved it back into the water just to be safe.....didn't think they could crawl and eat out of the water!

I have tried 4 times, but both my triggers and my XXL hermit make it a fast lunch.

Tiger cowries are easy to keep, but they can't survive on just the algae that grows on your glass & rocks. It'll starve to death in a few months unless you can feed it lots of macroalgae.

Also, they'll topple rocks in your aquarium trying to find hiding spots.

I have had mine for about 6 months now and love him!!! He about the size of your fist. Decent size.
