tiles for clown fish eggs

Are there any picture that show the best way to set up some tiles for clown fish to lay thier eggs? Thanks

I'm not sure that there is really a "best" way to do it, but many have recommended leaning a tile against the side of the aquarium and also placing tiles against the side and back walls and on the floor. This creates a spawning cave in which all of the sides are removeable (since it is sometimes difficult to predict exactly where they will place the eggs). I'll attach a few pictures of spawning substrates.

Spawning on the underside of a tile leaned against the side:

Spawning on the outside/top of a tile:

Your best bet is to lean two tiles together. This allows you to keep the tiles away from the sides of the tank. If the tiles are close to the glass they may lay on the glass and you earn yourself long nights of collecting fry by flashlight... :p I personally used clay pots as they made the clowns comfortable and were as cheap as the tiles.

where do you get terracotta

Terracotta pots can be found anywhere that sells plants. The tiles can be found at most home improvement stores. They are just the red clay pots and tiles.

If you use the plex method Slowly use sand paper to cloud the plex.Over 3 or 4 spawns. Then you can use a tile.Make it look just alike.
