lovely looking coral, couple of questions for you,

what are the white things on the coral?

and

will the mini-brittles cause the coral any problems

John, I think the little white spots are oyster eggs..:)

I'll keep an eye on the brittles, but as of now I don't forsee any problems.
 
Gary, the original piece of Oulophylia I had was sold to me by Serdar at Phishy Business- he is usually excellent with his IDs. This piece was obtained locally and is identical except for the slightly different coloration.

If you have some other thoughts on what this piece may be I'm definately open to the input! :)

Yes, I know the little stars are good guys- I'm just curious whether their presence could somehow irritate the underside of the coral...?
