I recently lost a female Occ that was spawning. I quickly added a new juv for the male to turn to female and the new guy to become the male.
It has been now a week and I have noticed a complete change in attitude from the old male. He is now more dominant and he seems to be growing though it might be too soon to tell.
I read in Joyce's book that the sex transformation can take as little as 1 month since in nature the clown community cannot afford to waste time and not to be producing larvae.
Has someone had any experience with this?would this pair take less time to spawn again ?
