Hello all,
I have a friend who has a pair of pink skunk clowns and they are routinely laying eggs, the hatch occurs every 15 days. I have been getting the larva to try and raise. I'm on my second hatch. The first was a good size but I had a heater malfunction and lost all of them. This second batch was considerably smaller (probably 200 in all). They are 6 days old today and I still have approximately 30-40. I added a little BBS today but they don't appear intersted at all in them, in fact the BBS might still be too big for them. I am in the process of doing a gallon water change to remove most of the BBS and will try again in a couple of days.
I haven't been able to find much information on raising skunks, does anyone know when they go through meta? How about level of difficulty? The little that I have read seems to indicate they are not as easy as ocellaris.
Any thoughts or suggestions?
Thanks.
