Time lapse video of my bubble coral

Made a time lapse video of my new green bubble coral the other night. Some 11hrs condensed to about 7min.

Theres a small dark part for about 10 sec around 5:30. Since there wasnt a full moon when the coral was recorded, the moon cycle turns off a bit before the day lights turn on.

A quick question that will illustrate my ignorance of advanced camera functions: Is time lapse a special internal function on a D camera that you can choose from the menu? Or is it done some other way & can be done by most entry level or intermediate cameras nowadays? How many frames per minute were you using there

That was Jabba - my sea hare (dolabella)
Actually I used my videocamera and just recorded it normally using a tripod then imported the video to Premier Pro and changed the speed up to the max (I think 10000% or something) and brought it from some 11hrs to 7min.

Using a regular camera it seems you need to buy a intervalometer.

Really interesting that it deflated a few times. I wonder why they do that!

It did seem to deflate when your sea hare passed by, I wonder if that had something to do with it.

I believe that is a asterina starfish. Seem to be common hitchhikers. I got a few in the tank.
