I'm local (Riverview) and have a 46 gallon bowfront aquarium. A friend of mine was moving to Hawaii and couldn't take it with him. It came with some standard fish tank gravel, fake plants, and various decorations. Fish included a yellow tailed blue damsel and a clown fish.
I've had the tank running for a year now. Everything is stable, but the clown fish recently passed. It had been getting tired for the last month. Anyway, I'm ready to change out the standard tank gravel and decorations for sand and live rock!
My questions:
1) Is this tank too small to really attempt corals?
2) The tank is very stable with good levels. Can I just replace or do I have to start over?
3) How much sand/rock should I put in there?
I've read so many positive reviews about TBS! I'm excited to get started, but cautious at the same time. Any advice you can give would be greatly appreciated!
