time to setup a 65g fowlr

The fish in my 125g reef are starting to not get along. The lionfish has decided he wants to try to eat the 3+" damsel and the 4" tomato clown. I also have a large 5" dottyback that is the devil and has been in solitary confinement (sump) for way to long. Also there is just to much waste being produced for the tank to handle. So I think it is time to set up a fowlr. The tank is 65g long, 48x18x18. Skimmer will be an asm g3 with all the mods fed directly from the overflow. return pump will probably be a ehiem and for extra flow i will use two K4s. Stocking will be the damsel 3+", tomato clown 4", dottyback 5", and I think the zebra eel 24+". How does all of this sound?

No responses. I will take that as everyone agreeing with me, so I guess I start working on setting up the tank.

Yes, I don't have a choice. I don't want to get rid of him, and the other tank I have is to small for him. So in the reef he will stay.

Reefs are great homes for vicious predators, I have a shark and a ray in my reef. What kind of lion is it?

It is a russells lionfish, and is about 7-8". I also have a sargassum trigger 5", yellow tang 6", and blue hippo tang 5" in the same tank. I might have to add a new fish to the reef now.

Thats a nice list of fish. I personally really like sargassums, I probably wouldn't add anymore considering the lion will get a foot long very fast.

yea you are probably right. I guess now I wait and see everything grows and then I will see if I need another fish.
