Water level is down, pump off for feed cycle

Yea, been letting them grow stringy, need to prune back and get some bushy colonies again. I've always liked Fire Shrimp, takes awhile to get them to stay out but once they do its worth the wait.

Sorry if I'm oblivious to what your plans are, you getting a new tank? Or just sprucing up this one? I really like the larger SPS colonies"¦I'm jealous :D. I'm trying to see if I can point out the tabling acro I got from you sometime back. It's teal base purple tips, maybe A. Nana? If you could get a close up I'd appreciate it.

Post a pic of your new light when you get it in. That sounds awesome. Also, you bringing some pieces of that light blue tip stag to the swap this Saturday? I'd love to get some more of that, don't need much, be happy with even a small piece.

Look at the beginning of the Frag swap thread for pics, sorry the color wont be maxed out. But most people know what they are so they will know what the color will be. As for the light, look at the Geisman Infinity thread for first Pics

I'm laughing - you talk about letting your corals get stringy and that they need to be pruned. I wish I had that problem. I sit here and fuss over my little inch-long frags.

1" frags turn into big colonies, and if you do not prune them they get stringy, lol. That Scroll on the right side was a golf ball size when I got it, I've cut tons of 6"frags from that colony.

Here's the light from underneath, still waiting on the Ballasts from Germany.

And there is peace in the Reef at last. Had a couple of Damsels, been peaceful for about 3 years, well about 4 months ago the both got mean. They had each taken a half of the reef as their territory, never bothered anybody else before, just each other. Well about 4 months ago, anything and I mean anything that went in got attacked, be it fish or algae scraper. Well they can fight over the sump now, lol

haha, that's what they do in jaail, if people get roudy, then then are put in the drunk holding tank, haha...the light looks good. What did you use to fasted it to the ceiling? My t5 strips have the cables and threads on the light, but I'm not exactly sure how to fasten them safely to the ceiling...

I ran 2x4's between the Rafters and screwed the wire anchor to them with 3" screws. I believe in overengeneering, better safe then sorry.

Sound's sturdy. I live in an apartments, so that wouldnt work. But maybe I can find the rafters and screw them straight into them. Where do you get the wirs ancors? Thats what I need to get

They came with the light, If yours has conection holes they probably sell a hanging kit. You can also use brackets off the wall if you have a stud finder, just buy some shelf brackets and get a hanging kit.
