I purchased this piece of sps one and a half month ago. In the first week, it show good pe. But after about 1 week, it show very poor pe. I thought my tank is new so i did not notice these bugs.. Until yesterday I take a picture with flash light and I found that there are many tiny black spot on it, they definitely are bugs since there are lost in tissue surrounding these bug. They are 0.01 cm or even smaller, hard to see it bare eye. And I cannot remove it by using toothpicks, it sticked on the sps. I use some reef dip to dip it but its seems not work, they not fall down. And suggestion on what it? And how to kill them? thank you!!:crazy1:

I think those are too small in size and numbers to cause any damage that the coral can't heal from instantly.
Those could actually just as well be beneficial.

I had these little suckers, they will affect PE of your Sps and it will eventually die. I had them on two of my Sps that I could see. I dosed interceptor and bam gone after one treatment. Again if these are the same as what I had I would just treat the entire tank. There are lots of threads on here about red bugs, but it's the same treatment. Hope this helps.

thank you so much for the suggestion, i am going buy some interceptor..:) it has been almost 1 month for me to check the kh mag cal every day. i just thought the problem of poor pe is the water. it really hard to see :angryfire:
