I am new to the board and new to the hobby. I recently set up a 29 gallon tank with 35lbs of live rock. Recently I have been hearing tiny single clicking sounds. I have heard other people talking about very loud clicks and pops, but these are very small sounds. I have seen some very small shrimp like animals in the rock. I have even seen one digging out a burrow.
Also, it seems like more than one live in the same crevice. Does this sound like a mantis shrimp situation, or something else?
If it is I need to go set up a 6 gallon tank to start cycling to house them.
