Tiny "Hands" In My Acro

I just got a coral that has about 20 or so tiny little feathers that pull in and out. {like a barnacle does}. They are in tiny slits that I assume they have made in the coral...there is no discoloration..just holes. Can this harm the coral? It is a Hoek.

Thanks..if I was as good as my camera is I could probably get a pic of it. Alas..a good camera does not a photographer make.;)

i should have siad this up there but....

.....I cant remember what they are, just a type of filter feeder...but they are harmless. there is actually someones avatar on here with a pic of a filter feeder in an acro :) ....i just saw it....

I was just kind of surprised there were so many..they are having a blast filtering SOMETHING in there..LOL. I remember positioning a rock when I first started in the hobby just so I could watch real barnacles on it...they were cool. Too bad they did'nt survive all the tank went through.:( I would like to see that avatar..:D
