Tiny little mantis

Oh my... I was just looking at my tank and saw a little movement on one of the rocks... it's a tiny ~1/2" mantis. It's peeking at me from under the rock right now :\ I'm not sure how to go about getting it out, it's so tiny. ???

Actually, I know where his hole is, I'm thinking about taking out that rock and keeping him separate until I move the contents of my 5.5g into the 10g(where the mantis is now) and then keep the 5.5g for the mants...

How long would it take this little guy to grow to 1-2"?

Well, I just got back from wal-mart and got a little 3qt tub with a little bit of sand. Luckily he stayed in his hole while I took his rock out of the tank and into it's temporary home. The hole he's in is only about 1/8" around. It's so cute with it's little head sticking out of it

What should I feed a mantis this small? There are still a bunch of barnicles left on the rock, that should last him a while right?

Mine eat pretty much anything when they're hungry. Shrimp, clams, fish, mysis, Formula one pellets. If it's not hungry mine just throws the food out of it's hole.
