tiny starfish? bad or good?

i have a few little starfish i mean tiny. they are usually on the glass at low light and at night. are they bad? i have soft corals and a couple frags of sps.

check their leg lengths. If all legs are of equal life than they're good, if they have one ot more that are expecially long/short than they eat corals. I dont have much experience with them, just hear-say.

They sound like te Asterina stars, and they are good clean up guys that dont grow very larger than a dime if that.

looks like two legs is way shorter then the rest, and some look like triangles. i'll try to get a pic

Sounds like Asterina. Some species or subgroups of Asterina will eat corals, but most are safe to have. They are sold as part of some refugium kits, actually.

I also think you have Asterina. They don't do harm that I can tell (over the last two years) but they constantly get in the way of the cleaning magnet, leading to the dilemma of knocking them off while cleaning.
