tiny tube worms

I have these very tiny tube worm things on my LR and wondering how big they may get.I don't have a pic yet but will try to get some soon.They are tiny tiny but I can see the little "fan" sticking out the end of the tubes. Any idea on what they are or where I can read up on them. They look cool but super small

a pic would help alot. But it sounds to me from your description they may be vermatid snails. I think there are a couple threads in this forum somewhere on them.

I'm no expert on them, but my understanding is that they're harmless.....unless there are tons of nutrients in your water in which case they could spread like wildfire and take over your tank. I'll see if I can find a thread with pics for you.

this seemed to be the worst case I've read about. Most other posts about them aren't so bad. Most people say leave them alone, they're harmless. But in this case.....sounds like a pain to me.

does it have a calcerous tube , if it does could be a serpulid worm
