TINY white specs on acrylic that crawl...

Are these copeods? There is like a few hundred on a sq ft section. They are maybe the size of a pencil tip. They seem to chill then go zooming a few inches on the acrylic then stop? Also this is a 7-8 week old setup?

Don't know if I could even get a pic if I tried.

Neat little informational site. The spots I have are so tiny, hard to make out any detail. But my guess is copepods. Even based on most of the pics on link above, not really anything else close
