Tiny whitecap goby questions?

We just purchased a tiny whitecap goby and currently have him in QT by himself. He is only 3/4" long and we are hoping to pair him up with a Randall's pistol shrimp that has been in my DT for a few weeks now. The DT also houses 3 young carpenter wrasse's, a yellow assessor, and a passive rusty angel with one eye... Everyone gets along well with no aggression at all.

While target feeding the pistol, we noticed a fairly large (6-8") bristle-worm come out of the same area as the shrimp's burrow. He was as thick around as the goby... Should we remove this worm before introducing the goby into the DT? I haven't found any info online saying that fish are at risk from bristle-worms, but given the cost of this fish I thought it better to ask the experts on here first before it becomes an expensive appetizer.

We also have 2 large blue knuckle hermit crabs and a large Halloween hermit as well. The plan is to move them into my sump, until the goby grows larger. Are the hermits a risk to the goby or am I just going overboard?

Should I keep the goby in the QT until he grows to a larger size? I have read that the shrimp and the goby will both do better in a symbiotic relationship than they would do individually, so I am split on introducing the goby sooner than later. All input is appreciated.

Thanks.
