Tip for getting a Condi off a rock?

I am not going to try and peel it off bc I don't want to cause any sort of damage to him. The issue is the rock he is in is the keystone to my rockwork.

can I get any suggestions?

I had the same issue last year. I was told to use ice to get him off, put a power head near him, etc, etc. I took the rock out and put it in a 10gal tank and went from these. I found getting something under him and using it to pry him up works best.

This condy was in my tank for months, and spent several more months in my sump after I got him out of the main tank, and then was sold to someone in the area. He's still kicking from what I heard, and had no damage from being moved off the rock several times.

If you can move the piece of LR it is attached to, try hanging the anem upside down close to the top of the water. It might be more of an annoyance than it wants to deal with and let go of the LR or move.

thanks guys, the rock he is on I can't move, so I am trying the powerhead method.

I SLOWLY peeled him off with a CC card after I blasted him with a powerhead. Makes me sick doing it because I feel so bad for him, but it had to be done.
