Tip for growing Mangroves

Can some one give me tips on growing red mangroves? I have 2 stocks in my sump now and just want to make sure im doing whant i can to help them thrive!

Insert them in sand, thats it once they have leafs spray with fresh water. Anyway whats your expectations from the 2 mangroves ?

Mostly looks but help a bit w/ getting rid of unwanted nutrients

Charlie they are nice and I love them, but they dont do a good job as chaeto or caluerpa does in nutrient export. I have close to 100 of them I know they dont.
