Tips Wanted on building a closed loop circuit

Can anyone refer me to some DIY online sites or design plans that you have for building an under the tank Closed loop circuit (CLC)?

I am looking at designing a CLC below the tank and drilling 3 return holes and one drain hole to facilitate this. I'm a bit fearful about all the potential leaks, but after using overflow bulkheads for 5+ years without any such problems, maybe I'm overly worried.

Any ideas or DIY links on this matter?

Scott, there are tons of threads talking about this procedure. Travis' tank is drilled, LilBlueGT's tank is drilled, cprowler's tank is drilled, the dudester's tank is drilled. All of these threads are found in Reef Discussion, and are posted to almost daily so they shouldn't be too hard to find. Just look for the threads by author, and check out all the images they've posted. Sinistard also has a drilled tank.

I made a closed loop for my 29g that was undrilled, and it is available on my website from the front page, bottom right.

Thanks Mark. I have not tried looking on that forum. I thought I would have better luck with the DIY forum. Anyhow, I checked your site out a few days ago and you have the internal device posted, but nothing on drilled.

BTW, very nice job on Reefcast. I downloaded the file to see if I had the software to listen to it (I do), but did not have the time to listen. I look foward to hearing it. Nice job and thanks for the quick reply.

There is no doubt many threads in this forum would answer your question. Matter of fact, many threads in the Large Tank Forum would answer it as well, such as the tank by Sonofgabriel's cube tank.

Thanks. :)
