To all the War Eagle fans!

An Auburn fan on here seemed proud of the fact that Brandon Cox was ranked as the the third best SEC Qback.

Are you as a Bama fan now happy and boasting over a Vandy win, a home team that couldnt even fill up the student section ??

I would call the Bama game a nice win and move on, (LSU did the walking yesterday) the Auburn game pretty much echoed my earlier comment on them, inexpierienced, and average.

I had the misfortune of watching Spurrier outcoach My beloved Bulldogs, it hurt but DAMM I have to love and respect him, he is "the ole ball coach

I would say we looked just Awful last night and for that matter the Saturday before. But I wouldn't say Bama walked over anybody, had it not be for a couple call backs Vandy was in that game and would have been positioned to win. But a win is a win, and it deserves an atta boy. The tide pulled off the win. But to think that was a whipping means we watched two different games. As for what growurown told me last week, after watching that game last night, I would still say your wrong. Brandon this year is proving to be less than average  But that is here nor there we were ugly all around, admitted our Defense played a great game.
But to JetCat Roll Tide, your team looks better coached, looked like they executed better, and looked presentable. However, if you think that team that played yesterday morning will get you to the dance you better wake up and smell the coffee. I would say as of right now LSU is owning the SEC, and they will have to play to lose, if they are beaten by anything Alabama or Auburn has put on the field so far.
War Eagle to ya, and good luck next saturday, not a big Hawg fan either so I hope you take them out.

"Average running game, average (??) quarterback, below average, inexpierienced O-line. "
That's what I said last week and at this point I will agree with you. I WAS wrong

The line may prove ONE day to be above average.

The Quarterback IS below average and hearing footsteps, the footage they showed of him ducking his head and slinging the ball away was brutal.

Fannin IS a good future back, some of his runs were very strong and productive - just think how productive they would have been if he hadnt rolled the ball to the other team.

I think Alabama may very well prove that strong fundamentals ,proven leadership at the head coaching position and proper positive motivation and control of the program is what works. They could be dangerous to ANYBODY this year and I am afraid they will only get better

On Fannin without doubt, if he could have held the ball he was going to rack up a lot of yards. But he should have warmed the bench for the remainder and next week he will have to show us he won't drop the ball. As for Brandon, not sure what happened to him even with the line blocking (the little in the second quarter) he didn't see his plays, was pointing his recievers from the snap, and wasn't able to audible the proper plays. Not to count he is still unable to move around, maybe he is hurt, but at times he wasn't rushed and he was still throwing dangerous. Either way, lack luster performance, admitted and moving on no excuses.

I think they both have room to improve. Bama got off to a nice start, but it could have been different with big Vandy plays that were called back. Comments like "Our boys walked all over Vandy" are definitely not merited in that game IMO. Bama won, and that's great for a team that big things are expected from.

The Tigers are not a #17 team. If a few more field goals that should have been made were made, or turnovers capitalized on, it could have been uglier than it was. Cox can't be so up and down.....and receivers have to catch before they are looking at the end zone.

Still a lot of games to be played.

hmm....

GO APPSTATE!

:)

my beloved Mountaineers sat thier first string QB for a week, and the second half motto was: if you're dressed and not a redshirt, you get to play today.

New AP Poll Rule: ANYBODY can make the top 25.

anyone want to be frags on them getting at least one vote?
how about more votes than michigan?

We have a very mixed household Hubby for Auburn and Me for LSU first then Auburn. I was in one room going ANOTHER TOUCHDOWN and he was in the other room cussing! I was disappointed that Auburn lost. I think Tommy should have play those last seconds at least got them into field goal range.

I wasn't intending to start any squabbles with the post, i mean yeah, I'd rather have a sister in a whore house then a brother going to Auburn but i love watching a good game regardless of who played and of last weeks games the Auburn/SFU was the best college game of the week and the Cincinnati/Baltimore was the best NFL game of the week.

last year the best college game of the year was the LSU/Auburn game. so don't think I'm a hater to the little eagles, I'll even pull for them as long as they aren't playing the Tide...................or the Gators.....or the Bulldogs....

Ok I am going to be bad.... AL has football???? lol Sorry I am a Michigan fan even though they suck so far this season

Amy you're a michigan fan?

I watched the replay of the Appalachian game last night...on ESPN Classics...part of their 'Classic Upsets' Marathon...

i recorded it if you want to come over and watch it again.

tim

(or as they say in alabama, tee-yum)

Amy,
Your a brave soul I give you that. Michigan is one of the only teams making Auburn look like champions this year ;)

What’s up with Michigan? I thought they would bounce back and make a game of Oregon. Alabama looks like they will be pretty well off this year. Vandy did have the majority of major calls go against them but Bama controlled the ball up and down the field with the run game. JP had an off game and will have to step it up though it was a good game to have off with the next three upcoming games.

What is up with Auburn? They have a bunch of vereran players for the most part lead by a seasoned QB.

Alabama finally looks like its starting to get more depth. Both UA and AU need to get more depth at every position, thats what makes great teams "look at LSU". I believe UA and AU have been going off that superstar player or two for way too long - look what happens when those players get hurt, cox/prothro...

I suppose I would rather have a well balanced team clicking on all levels instead of a couple of really skilled guys that lack communication and discipline.

What is for sure is that its shaping up to be a very interesting and unusal SEC year of football.

i'm in calculus and linear algebra, and the professor demonstrated how it can be used in real life, like football:

UA + AU = AAUU
LSU + 1AA = ALSSUU
AAU-ALSSUU = ASU

:)

I really wish we were playing Auburn this year, I'm really glad we played LSU LAST year, do we play Alabama next year?

I think Michigan forgot to put a team together this year... the sad part about it right now a pee wee flag football team could beat Michigan, but I would still have cheer them on

Actually Michigan is cocky and went in to these games thinking they would be easy and didn't play up to their potential -- deserves them right to lose
