To all the War Eagle fans!

Just catching wind of the "good ole bama fans" throwing drinks and "things" on the GA team from the endzone as they were celebrating the OT win.

lets all mumble together in a long slow whisper "boooooo"

I'll be the first to Boo a sore looser, i for one ain't one. we lost, they played good ball, nuff said no reason to be derogatory or disrespectful to the winning team.

with the good game GA played and the lack of quality play by our scared turn tail and run QB I'm shocked that it even needed to goto OT for GA to win.

I was there and did not see anything get thrown on the GA guys.
I hope that whatever you heard was exaggerated. Nothing would surprise me..it's college football.
JetCat...I said the same thing. It's a miracle we needed to go into OT the way we played.

Not an exaggeration, Bama's Head coach even referenced it in his monday press conference.

Not sure I would call that "College Football" but if you as a Bammer would, well I guess that says a lot. Perhaps it is "Alabama College Football" remember, these are someone's children out there, not paid (normally) professional's.

Anyway good luck to the Tide this week against Fla. St.

All I got to say is WAR EAGLE!!!! If we can play as a team saturday we might skin some gators! Tide should be good this weekend, think Nick got a taste of "Alabama Football" this past weekend, and if he didn't the next early morning call might be to him. But I will say one thing for him so far he has shown nothing but class and good on him for calling the person out that called his coach and calling out the fans who decided toss stuff at the players. Wait till he wakes up about that time with a brick in his window. LOL Roll Tide guys, I am just messing with ya. LOL couldn't help but think of that one, after I he said that in his press conference. Take it easy on me ;)

Not really sure I understand what you are saying. They were also someone's kids acting foolish and throwing the stuff. Are you implying that things like that only happen at Alabama games? And what says a lot?
I simply meant that there are not a lot of actions that occur at college football games that surprise me.

I have been to every college in the sec and many of the games and have not seen a big game where something was not thrown on the field. Auburn has a slim chance this weekend but its Floridas to loose. I figure its about the same way with Alabama/FSU, if they don't get that offense to start converting on third down/get the running game going then it should be a pretty close ball game again this week.

There are a lot of reasons for throwing the ball deep. It keeps the DB's honest aka they never know when there going to get beat. It allows you to move it down the field fast of course. It acts like a punt if intercepted and not returned which is why I am suprised more coaches don't throw deep more often when behind on third down.

What amazed me other than the poor offense of alabama "3rd down conversions?" was the good defense of alabama. Even the last play was very close and was good coverage. Alabama's defense is not very deep; unlike the offense. I would say the defense once again kept alabama in the game while the offense did just enough to win, although alabama did not.

Thought you were there and did not see anything get thrown on the GA guys. Now you not only admit it but KNOW who did it.

I am not interseted in a back and forth with you on Alabama's, or any other drunken fans actions.

I would hope that "Yall's" attention is now focused solely on the Seminoles as the contest between our two favorite Colleges has ended.

A little research is all it took. I said I did not see anyone throw anything. Lots of folks there though. What they did was wrong Bro, I don't condone that kind of activity. Unfortunately, it happened and hopefully the fools won't do it again.

Anyway....as always I'm looking forward to another weekend of college football.

Wow, Broreefr...I mean Growurown - you really do live to stir stuff up, don't you?

I mean really, when the coach talks about what happened in his post-game presser, it isn't exactly a state secret. tw said in his post that he didn't see it himself. Now he hears about it and says he doesn't condone it, and you've convicted him of lying about it. Pure genius - guess that's the ex-CIA logic working for you, right?

Pretty excited about this weekend...I think?!?!

Tubs is pretty good about pulling a rabbit out of his hat against top 10 teams. I would have never thought Auburn would have beaten the Gators last year after seeing them get whipped by Arkansas. One good thing about this weekend is we get Blackmon back. Anyone know if Merrill Johnson will play this week? Does anyone think Tristan Davis will play Saturday? I know Tubs said he doesn't expect him to play much if any. He sure is a threat on kickoffs especially since the new rule change.

At least we get Lester back next week.

God bless and War Eagle,
Basset

Great call on that game bassestbro!

Will there be no undefeated teams left after this week in the sec? Lets geaux LSU

wonder how Auburn will do against Vandy?

Boy is there a big one in the Bayou this weekend! I'm really looking forward to that one. I think the Gators are going to have a mad on after what happened last week. It's going to be one great ball game with that tough LSU defense.

There's nothing like a college football night game...especially with the crazies in Baton Rouge. I know when Auburn plays LSU in Baton Rouge it's always a night game. I wish we could have LSU @ Auburn at night instead of the usual 2:30. Lots better participation by the fans and great atmosphere at night!

Can't ever overlook Vandy. Chris Nixon and Earl Bennet will embarras you if you do. Tubs better have the troops ready to play. Injuries have killed us this year. We HAVE to be healthy going to Fayetteville and Baton Rouge these next couple of weeks.

God bless,
Basset
