To catch a fish

I have a $&#$(% damsel that I need to remove from my tank, it's a big bully. Short of taking everything out of the tank, what are some ideas I can try to catch the thing. TIA!

What i did was start putting my net with feed in it everytime i fed them in a couple days they were swimming right in and eating out of the net.

They're hard to catch, because they are so quick! Talk to your LFS and ask if they have a fish trap you can use.

You can always go fishing .. literally .. use a small hook/bait and some fishing line. You can always bend back the barbs on the hook.

I used a bottle trap to catch a damsel in my tank. It worked good I caught it in about an hour.

I tried fishing, but after a few near misses on my tang, I gave up. I was thinking that somebody was pulling my leg , but I hear this does work. You just need a real small hook and then use a pliers to press the barb down so you don't do too much damage removing the hook.

I could only get #6 hooks in my area, so it was no use on a damsel.

I got mine with a bottle trap. Don't feed the fish for two days, buy your favorate 2 litre beverage, drink it, invert the top (with a entrance big enough for the damsel), attach a fishing line for easy retrieval, and watch from your favorite chair. I nailed mine in less then 30 seconds.

I've heard that if you can't get them with food, you put their favorite victim in the trap. That will also work.
