To Frag or Not to Frag, that is the question.

The picture of the neon green bird nest may not be the best photo but hopefully good enough for those of you with an educated opinion to voice it. The colony, about 8 to 9 inch diameter, was doing quite well. Started as a one inch frag. I had a heater malfunction2 months ago that caused cold damage to the inner circle. If you look close you can see polyps still alive and extended just have lost all color. I am debating fragging the outer perimeter. So, frag or wait another 2 months to see if it recovers? Your thoughts and opinions welcome.

If the polys are still alive, that portion should recover. I think I see a few small dead spots, I'd cut those off. It's probably got dead branches down deep at the base due to lack of light. sooner or later you're going to half to frag it up.....
