No. With a clean tank, adequate flow, and alk, the PH is not a problem.
+1... I think the acids produced by the decay that occurs in the fuge is responsible at least in some part for lower pH. I'd imagine there is a little drop at night in my "fugeless" system, but if the pH isn't depressed to begin with, that little drop doesn't matter. I suppose one day, I'll fire up the old Pin Point and find out the exact numbers, but truthfully, it's been a long time since I worried about it.
