Reefing On My Mind

So yeah... Ashley and I were talking this evening, and she says its weird that I kiss members of my family and friends of the opposite sex on the cheek... She said people don't do that in Illinois, only in Connecticut... I pointed out a few of my closer friends down here I'll occasionally greet that way, and she was like, yeah, so you're weird, you're from Connecticut... Just wondering what you guys think???

opposite sex family members, yes. opposite sex friends no. My wife would give me "the look" if I kissed my female friends on the cheek! LOL

I think it's fine to do either, honestly. Some people are just more friendly than others. I know a guy who still pecks his dad on the mouth goodbye. It's cute as hell too.

I kiss my lady friends and buddy's wives back home on the cheek when I visit. But not my dad! The most men get is a hug and that's limited to immediate family and friends I've had since elementary school - the one handed shake and one handed hug thing...

Hahaa!!!!! She says we still have to poll her friends when we go out to dinner tonight...

Totally normal greeting for family and very close friends of opposite sex. A good hug for very close friends of same sex.:love1:

I try to give a kiss to my father-in-law on the cheek just to throw him off a bit, he's into embarrasing people so I try to do it by kissing him a hello or goodbye in front of people. Only on the cheek, no lips thanks!
