To much flow?

Hi everyone,

I'm going to be starting a mantis tank and i was wondering how much flow is to much. I have a 12 gallon aquapod with a maxijet-900 right now. I think the flow on the pump is 230gph. Is this to much? I think i'll be getting a N. Wennerae, i don't know if this matters. Thanks!

That should be plenty. Use the clip on flow defuser to spread the flow around, so that it's not in a straight line.

I have one of those lockline 2 way splitters should that work well enough?

you want to see alot of flow, put a maxi jet 900 in a 5 gallon cube
