I am going to move some rocks around, where is idea location for a RBTA? I know the'll move if unhappy, but lets assume hes happy in the rock and wont move...

I have a 40breeder with an Outer Orbit 1-150Halide 2-96 Atnincs.. Since I've gotten him hes been positioned directly under the 150halide about 6inches from surface. And the fixture is on legs about 3inches form surface.

One petstore suggested he may be getting to much light?? Is this possible??

Should I move him to the side of the tank where hes not getting as much light? or should I put him lower in the tank?

Thanks

id put him low in the tank....he should be fine even under that light.....but that is a IF he is happy.....it is rare that they like where you put them

Ignoring any acclimation time, I wouldn't think that that would be too much light. Before I took it out, I had a BTA in my 58 with 2 * 175 SE, it was about 6" from the light and did fine.
