To quarantine or not to quarantine: Chaeto!

Hey Everyone, I have heard that chaeto can carry some unwanted hitchhikers but I was wondering how many of you have quarantined their chaeto and if so, would I just wait and watch it in the qt in case i saw something? Could there be fish parasites embedded within the chaeto? I do not have any pods in my tank and would love to start propagating them in the fuge as the site (reefcleaners) states are wrapped in with the chaeto so I am just not sure what my plan of attack should be.

I am glad I looked mine over. I got it from a reputable online source and it had aptasia in it. So yes I would. I just bought some from the for sale forum the other day and it was very nice and even had some pods with it.

Thanks for the advice! I think i'll just end up trying to buy some from another reefer as I'm sure their tank would be in better condition than the mass chaeto propagation tanks that these big sellers have.
