i was just finging the information on the wavebox when you posted. i really like the idea of it and will definitely emcopass it................different tank, different time. as for now im gonna go with getting a 6100s and the controller (thatll push the completion date back about a month ). really, i cant stress to you how appreciative i am of all your help and everyone else that contributed their insight. thanks again. -amnesiac

you can delay $140 of the price by going with the 6000s now, the price to upgrade is the same as the price difference now. just an idea.

Maxijet900 only uses 8 watts, and is down around 6 spinning an octura 1435 for 1600+ gph. A 1200 runs 20w normally, or around 16w spinning a 3004 for 2500+ gph.

Syris, I reccomended the 900s over the 1200s because i think the 900s on occilating mounts is more than enough.

I think the oscillating maximods are great too. I just think they're too ugly for my own liking so I went with Tunzes.

I've run both maxi mods and Tunze....and even though tunze are expensive...and the maxi's work fairly well I still wouldnt trade in my tunze for more maxi's.

Go with seios... They're cheap and they work relatively well... I have 4 in my tank
