Wondering what I could keep with a toadfish? Not much from the descriptions but there might be some fish or invert.

Mollies! They do great in full strength seawater. They eat algae. They are prolific livebearers, effectively turning algae into feeder fish. This will provide your toadfish with natural prey to hunt, and you get to watch. You could potentially have a near self sustaining aquarium.

Toadfish can work with hardy, larger fish that won’t fit in their mouth—like big tangs or robust angelfish. They’re also super entertaining solo; their ambush feeding and quirky behavior are fascinating to watch.
