Toadstool fell and I can't get it.

I have a toadstool that was getting stung badly from a galaxea. I moved it to another spot and wedged it between a couple of rocks hoping it would attach and it winded up falling behind some rocks in a area that I can't reach. It's polyps are opening (they didn't when it was getting stung) and it is touching some large rocks. Is there a chance that it could attach to these rocks and start to grow upwards? I have a lot of light so I know it's getting light.

Any suggestions.

depends on how much light it's getting if it can grow upwards via rock attachment.

another factor is how much flow it's getting. if it's in a extremely low flow area it will likely not be conducive but low/moderate flow may be ok (depends on the species and available plankton).

btw could you reach it with some tongs or chopsticks?

I have tries tongs and I can't get to it. Worst case I will remove some rocks if it is going to perish. I was just being hopeful that it could attach.
