Today I rearrange some of my rock. And of course I moved the toadstool to a more open area because he is a light hog. But I noticed little white spots on his cap can anyone tell me what it is?

i've seen this often. usually, i see it during a slight degradation of the water quality (i.e. during/after a lazy stretch of minimal tank maintenance 
).
it seems almost like a light scab, (i.e. healed injury). i'm not sure what it really is though but i would suspect some kind of fungus or bacteria. i just lightly scrape it off using the end of a chopstick, a light/soft rubbing motion.
sometimes i just scrape it off and it doesn't come back. otoh, sometimes it returns daily until the general water quality improves. a waterchange won't hurt but adding carbon would be good too.

Ok I will do a water change. I believe it do to a colt coral death so I will defintally do that.
