toadstool/leather coral for hosting

I have a clownfish who doesn't have a host yet. I cannot have a anenomie as I have a dragonet. Is a toadstool or leather coral a good host?

What are some other alternatives and where can I find a good "host" for a reasonable price. This would be for a
1 1/4" clown, in a 12g nano.

i had a clown use one for about 4 years until something ate the leather from the inside and killed it.

So you cant have an anemone because you have a dragonet??..Where did you hear that??..I know carpets are notorious fish eaters, but i dont see why you couldnt keep a BTA with a dragonet...but anyways, since you have a 12 gal. tank..i wouldnt recommend any anemone. So, depending on which type of clown you have, you can either go with a toadstool, a hammer, frogspawn..or a torch. All of them are fairly easy to care for and reasonably cheap.

This is where I read about anemone/mandarin issues.

I may get a Xenia as it is a soft coral, easy to care for, and not toxic to other corals. (I think...)
