Toadstool leather coral

Hey guys. I bought a toadstool leather a week and half ago. It seems to be getting weird spots on it. Anyone have any clue to what's going on.

It sounded about right. I was just wondering if anyone else had a toadstool go through the same thing. I’ve seen other pictures of them shedding but they look a lot different from mine.

Does it open up all the way at times?

Is it getting enough flow, as to get rid of debris and dead tissue?
