toadstool leather in a 10g reef?

hi guys i was wonderin if i could do a toadstool leather in a 10 g reef?
and if the size of the toaadstool would alter the survival rate?
the guy at my lfs said that if i got one it wouldnt do good especially wen it got bigger.

Yeah you can do that. Run some carbon in the filter to deal with any chemicals that the toadstool will release and remember that its gonna grow to be the size of the 10 galloon. I keep frags of my toadstool in my 10 gallon tank and let them grow out some before I sell them

I think you will end up fragging it a lot. I have one in my 75G reef and it is slowly taking over one corner. They have a pretty decent growth rate.
