Toadstool Leather

These have always been my favorite coral and my LFS has a sale on a a really nice big one. I am having them hold it for me so i can do some research on it. I have 265 watts of PC lights on my 55 gallon? What are some special requirments for toadstools and would i be able to keep one under my current lights?

your lighting is fine, and they don't really need special care but i feed my tank with phyto and cyclopeeze and my leather is doing very well

You'll be fine with that lighting. For now, I have that same lighting on a 90g and our leather is thriving. I cut frags off of it every 6 weeks or so to keep it from getting overly large. I placed it in the mid- to upper- part of the tank with a moderate amount of indirect flow. No special feedings for it, just feedings intended for the entire tank.
