There is a type of snail that will eat leathers from the inside. The snails are called Rapa rapa , and apparently eat leathers from the inside out.

Now i´ve raised my alk to 2.5 meq/l and it´s still not blossoming, what could possibly be the reason?

How fast did you raise your alk? Major alk swings are real bad new for the corals.

I run my alkalinity at 11 dkh and my toad seems to love it in there.
