I had an incident with my chiller couple months back. Accidentally switched off for 14 hours, and temperature went from 78F to 87F that day. Eversince my Toadstool never opened up the same. Can anyone help what to do with it? The baby toadstool as shown in the pic was surviving on before and after. Helps appreciated. Many thanks.

Here are the BEFORE and AFTER

Only thing I can suggest is it may take several months for him to recover. Back in August my heater went ballistic and shot my tank from 78F to 96F during the night (6 hours max I think). My finger leather was severally stressed, turned completely white and the body started to disintegrate on me. Fraged the head into six pieces at the time and only recently have they started to regain their pink color and open fully.

My toadstool shrivled like that once and I thought it was done for, but it came back even more healthy afterwards....
Change some water.... always helps.

thanks for feedbacks...

It's been 3 months now. I noticed that the "body" is a bit wrinkled now. That time I could see there were some hardening and brittled areas there, but it recovered. I've been thinking in another 1 month to refrag her if no improvement.
